Thema: Eidolon und Rend

Mein Eidolon auf Stufe 8 hat 4 Klauenangriffe. Auf Stufe 8 sind maximal 4 Angriffe möglich / erlaubt.

Wenn ich nun die Evolution "Rend" nehme, zählt der Zusatzschaden von Rend dann gegen das Maximum der möglichen Attacken - wird der Rend-Schaden also als Attacke gezählt?

Oder könnte ich mit meinen 4 Klauen angreifen und nach dem 2. Treffer auf denselben Gegner den Rendschaden "frei" würfeln?

Rend ist kein Angriff, sondern einfach Zusatzschaden. Zählt nicht als Attacke

Danke, das hatte ich auch so verstanden. Zumindest aus der Beschreibung der Eidolon Evolution Rend.

Unsicher wurde ich beim nachlesen der Universal Monster rules:

Rend (Ex)

If it hits with two or more natural attacks in 1 round, a creature with the rend special attack can cause tremendous damage by latching onto the opponent’s body and tearing flesh. This attack deals an additional amount of damage, but no more than once per round. The type of attacks that must hit and the additional damage are included in the creature’s description. The additional damage is usually equal to the damage caused by one of the attacks plus 1-1/2 times the creature’s Strength bonus.
