'Seer' © by Matthew FosterBETRAYER OF FATEA mighty mage with arcane powers or a stout warrior with a broad sword. It doesn't matter. Both and everyone in between knows the feeling of déjà vu. At birth some people are gifted with sharper perception than others and very few of them experience déjà vu on a regular basis. Most of those few disregard it or think of it as a trick their mind plays on them but once in a while there are people who expect that there must be more to it. Those people try to find the reason and the cause of this feeling. Sooner or later they discover, that a déjà vu is nothing less than a glimpse of the future. If that is true, if the future can be seen in the present, then that can only lead to one explaination. Fate. And if our way is laid out befor us, then there must be rules to the way it works and in its creation. Whenever there are rules, they can be bend or even broken and the betrayer of fate knows that.

Glimpse of Fate (SU)The betrayer of fate has learned to control his déjà vues to a point, where he can provoke them and react to bad feelings in time to possibly avoid harm and failure. As he gains experience and practice the betrayer of fate reaches a point, where he can clearly see bad consequences ahead of the present.
For the next three rounds upon activating this ability, the betrayer of fate may reroll any attack roll, reflex saving throw or skill and ability check he has just made as a free action. He must do so befor the DM declares whether the roll results in success or failure and he can only reroll one roll per round. The character must take the result of the reroll, even if it's worse than the original roll.
Extended Glimpse: At third level, the provoked déjà vu extends its duration to 5 rounds.
Forsee Fate: Upon reaching the fifth level, he can decide to reroll after the DM declares whether the roll results in success or failure.
Superior Intuition (EX)Intuition, like a déjà vu is bound to the existance of fate. While most people are only able to employ a very limited intuition, the betrayer of fate, through practice and concentration, learns to sharpen his consciousness to a level, where he is able to evade swords, arrows and other threats.
The betrayer of fate receives a +2 dodge bonus to his armor class. A condition that makes you lose your Dexterity bonus to Armor Class (if any) also makes you lose dodge bonuses. Also, dodge bonuses stack with each other, unlike most other types of bonuses.
Superior Instinct (EX)The unconscious awareness of the immediate fate has grown strong in the betrayer of fate. He is able to feel danger in advance without concentrating and thinking about it.
The betrayer of fate is never surprised or flat-footed.
