Mich würden eure Meinungen zu folgender Kraft interessieren:
Cancer PersonalityTelepathy [Evil, Mind-Affecting]Level: Psion/Wilder 9
Display: Auditory
Manifesting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target: A living creature with an intelligence score of at least 3.
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Will negates; see text
Power Resistance: Yes
Power Points: 17
This utterly evil power infests the target’s mind with a cancerous sub-personality that grows over time and gradually devours the target’s original personality, essentially destroying the individual and remaking it in a fashion specified by the manifester.
Upon manifestation of this power, the manifester chooses an alignment for the cancer personality infused into the victim’s mind which can be any evil alignment. The manifester also specifies a special goal or purpose for the cancer personality such as “murder the king” or “protect the psion Ialdabode with all your abilities and powers”. Finally, the manifester determines the three mental ability scores of the cancer personality by rolling 2d6 + manifester’s bonus with the respective ability for each ability score.
Similar to a disease effect, this power has an incubation period of 2d4 days after which the sub-personality begins to corrode the victim’s mind. During the incubation period, the cancer personality is still growing and can be removed by heal, bend reality, limited wish or similar (i.e. more or equally powerful) effects. When the incubation period is over, the cancer personality becomes a natural part of the victim’s mind and can only be removed by wish, miracle or reality revision or by divine intervention.
The victim must succeed at a Will save against the DC of the power once per month in order to prevent the cancer personality from taking over control. Once the victim fails on this saving throw, its personality is oppressed by the cancerous thing in its mind for 1d4 hours. During this period of time, the character’s alignment changes to that designated by the manifester and he must take steps to pursue the special goal of the cancer personality as if affected by a permanent respective suggestion. Once this goal is accomplished (if it can be accomplished at all), the victim immediately gains control again (given that its original personality has not yet been destroyed, see below) and the cancer personality stops “growing” in any case.
While the cancer personality is in control, the character retains all of his skill ranks, spellcasting or power manifesting abilities and so on, as the cancer personality assimilates and mimicries these facets of the victim’s personality. The character’s mental abilities are replaced by those determined upon manifestation, though, which may prevent the character from casting spells or manifesting psionic powers that are of too-high level. Additionally the change of alignment has normal consequences for character’s whose abilities are tied to their alignment such as paladins or monks.
When the control of the cancer personality ends, the victim gains the upper hand again, but the cancer personality corrodes his mind further each time it gains control over the victim. After the third failed saving throw, the character must save against the cancer personality once per week instead of once per month and the duration of cancer control increases to 2d4 hours. After the fifth failed saving throw, the victim must save once per day and the duration increases to 24 hours. After the tenth failed saved, the cancer personality completely replaces the victim’s original personality, utterly destroying the individual. This development represents the growing of the cancer personality. In this state, the character’s original personality cannot be restored by any mortal means though the gods might be able to intervene.
Once and if the character manages to accomplish the cancer personality’s goals, failure on a saving throw does not shorten the interval between the saving throws nor does it extend the duration of control anymore. Anyway, this has no effect if the goal is accomplished after the cancer personality has destroyed the character’s original personality.
A cancer-controlled character without a specific goal may act more or less freely with the confinement that he is always absolutely true the cancer personality’s alignment.
