Skill Points at Each Additional Level: 2 + Int modifier
Spells: The epic wizard’s caster level is equal to his or her class level. The epic wizard’s number of spells per day does not increase after 20th level.
Familiar: The epic wizards’s familiar continues to increase in power (see the Epic Familiar Table). At 21st level and again at 31st level, the familiar gains the benefit of the Familiar Spell epic feat for a spell of its master’s choice.
Bonus Feats: The epic wizard gains a bonus feat (selected from the list of epic wizard bonus feats) every three levels higher than 20th.
Epic Wizard Bonus Feat List: WIRD NACHGEREICHTArcane Manipulation (Pierce Resistance): At 21st level, an epic wizard gains the ability to manipulate his or her spells. When an epic wizard casts a spell with an energy descriptor, any resistance against this type of energy is reduced by an amount equal to the caster level of the epic wizard. In addition energy immunity granted by a spell or magical effect is treated as energy resistance 100. Other energy immunity for example by transformating into a red dragon and gaining the fire subtype is not affected. Using this ability is a swift action.
He or she can use Arcane Manipulation a number of times per day equal to 3+ his or her INT modifier.
Arcane Manipulation (Merge Spell Slot) (Ex): At 28th level, an epic wizard can use one of his or her daily Arcane Manipulation attempts to temporarily sacrifice 2 spell slots of the same level to prepare a spell 2 levels higher. The higher-level spell can be up to the highest level the Epic wizard can cast.
Arcane Manipulation (Absorb Spell Energy) (Su): At 34th Level, an epic wizard can use one of his or her Arcane Manipulation attempts when making a successful Will or Fortitude saving throw that would normally reduce a spell´s effect. Then he or she suffers no effect from the spell at all. Only those spells with a Saving Throw entry of "Will partial", "Fortitude half", or similar can be negated through this ability. In addition he or she can recall any one spell that she had prepared an then cast up to the spell level of the negated spell. The spell is then prepared again, just as if it had not been cast. Using this ability is a free action.
Arcane Manipulation (Substitution) (Su): At 40th Level an epic wizard can use one of his or her daily Arcane Manipulation attempts to substitute a spell's energy descriptor (provided the spell deals energy damage) with the magic energy type. Using this ability is a swift action.
