 Eine weitere Frage zu einer Situation aus unserer letzten Session. Was muß man genau über einen Ort wissen, den man mittels Find the Path finden möchte.

The recipient of this spell can find the shortest, most direct physical route to a specified destination, be it the way into or out of a locale. The locale can be outdoors, underground, or even inside a maze spell. Find the path works with respect to locations, not objects or creatures at a locale. The location must be on the same plane as you are at the time of casting.

The spell enables the subject to sense the correct direction that will eventually lead it to its destination, indicating at appropriate times the exact path to follow or physical actions to take. For example, the spell enables the subject to sense trip wires or the proper word to bypass a glyph of warding. The spell ends when the destination is reached or the duration expires, whichever comes first. Find the path can be used to remove the subject and its companions from the effect of a maze spell in a single round.

Was ist hier unter "specified destination" zu verstehen. Reicht es aus zu sagen: "Führe mich zum Ritualraum von Fürst Xor" oder zum "Gefängnis der Drow"?

Oder muss ich das spezifizieren oder mehr über den Ort wissen?

 Ich denke man muss den Ort einfach nur genau spezifizieren können, indem man ihn irgendwie benennt oder beschreibt.

Allerdings muss es der Ort sein, die Anwesenheit von Personen ist da irrelevant, also "das Gefängnis, indem Fürst Xor gefangengehalten wird" oder "die Schatzkammer mit dem roten Diamanten" würde nicht ausreichen, während der "Ritualraum von Fürst Xor" vermutlich ok ist. Ein Ort, den man einmal mittels Scry gesehen hat, sollte auch möglich sein.

Wichtig ist nur, dass man irgendwie eine eindeutige Formulierung findet, um den Ort zu beschreiben, die nicht davon abhängt wer oder was sich gerade dort aufhält, bzw. darin befindet.

"Das Gefängnis der Drow" ist vielleicht noch etwas zu ungenau, aber wenn man die Gruppe der Drow näher spezifizieren kann, sollte auch dies möglich sein.
