Subject: How to log in and vote?
1. We can only address issues related to Mashable and MASHABLE.COM. We
are not affiliated with the sites we write about.
Oh that is fine. I'd just like to ask how to log in to mashable.com if
I am no customer of twitter nor facebook. I only saw these ways to
log in.
Do you offer any other identification/login like... e-mail or openID?
I'm also using status.net and friendika that should be able to
identify me (and even Diaspora but I think that does not identify it's
users to external services).
It seems to be pretty strange to me to become a customer on those
services to participate on yours, so please tell me how to log in.
Best regards
Hello,
At this time, you can only vote via Twitter and Facebook. We apologize if
you are using neither service but would have to enforce these rules.
Thank you,

Oh, that's a pity.
As far as I know status.net offers a Twitter-compatible API and I'm
pretty sure that includes identification and remote applications and
so on.
If you'd like I can check out how that works and what to change to the
twitter-code to use any base-uri (but I thought/hoped you are kinda
experts in these things).
> > We apologize if you are using neither service
Oh that's very kind of you, I'm pleased. But don't feel sorry about
that, it's my decision and I'm fine with that Like I wrote I am
using multiple social networks but I don't like those with closed
gates to other networks (and even centralized).

Erm I'm no native speaker I don't get that sentence. You would have to
enforce the rules (of voting?) if you allow to identify on other ways?
Right? Hmmm
> > Thank you,
Oh I thank YOU answering me.
We are unable to change the voting process at this time.

Mitglied in
Ansonsten...
